in good condition within 10 days

Contract, if awarded, will be
on a lump sum basis. No bid
may be withdrawn for a period
of 30 days after date of opening.
Blds must be accompanied by a
Bid Bond in amount not less than
5% of the Base Bid. (No check
of any nature will be acceptable
in lieu of the Bid Bond), Bid
Bond shall be made payable to
the Owner. The successful bidder
will be required to furnish a
Performance and Payment Bond
in an amount equal to 100% of
the contract price and executed
by a Surety Company licensed to
do business in Georgia.
Bidding Documents will not be
issued later than twenty-four (24)
hours prior to the time for
receiving proposals.
No oral, telegraphic, tele
phonic or written modifications of
the proposal will be considered.
The Owner reserves the right
to accept or reject any or all
bids and to waive technicalities
and Informalities.

WELL, BARBARA P. SOWELL,

ton, Georgia, HORACE A. DAY
and LILA MAE DAY, Route #l,
Oxford, Georgia, hereinafter
called petitioners, respectfully
shows to the Court as follows;
1.
Petitioners desire for them
selves, their associates and suc
cessors to be Incorporated under
the name of “L & S ALUMINUM
SALES COMPANY, INC."
2.
The object of said corporation
is pecuniary gain and profit.
3.
The general nature of the busi
ness or businesses to be trans
acted is as follows: To manage
and operate a store, plant or
factory for the production, fabri
cation, manufacture, sale and in
stallation of aluminum awnings
and related aluminum products
designed for homes and buildings;
to act as dealers for other manu
facturers of like products and
hold and own franchises or agen
cies in connection therewith; to
acquire by purchase, lease, op
tion, or contract, or otherwise
and to hold, own, maintain, man
age, work, develop, let, sublet,
sell, exchange, mortgage, en
cumber, hypothecate, bond, or
dispose of both real and personal
property of every kind and nature
whatsoever as the management
and operation of said business
or businesses may relate and
connect same to the object of
said corporation.

Petitioners further desire that
said corporation be vested with
all the right and powers now or
hereafter given to do any and all
things which may be needful or
proper in the operation of the
above described business, and
that said corporation have all of
the powers enumerated in Sec
tions 22-1827 and 22-1828, Geor
gia Code Annotated, and such
powers as may hereafter be given
by law.
5.
The maximum number of
shares of stock shall be Twenty-
Five Thousand (25,000) of the par
value of One Dollar ($1.00) per
share, all of which shall be com
mon stock. However, the amount
of capital stock with which the
corporation shall begin business
shall not be less than One Thou
sand Dollars ($1,000.00). The
corporation shall be authorized to
Issue additional shares up to the
maximum sum above stated, and
thereafter, from time to time, to
reduce the amount of capital out
standing, but not below the mini
mum above stated, and all this,
upon a majority vote of the Board
of Directors, approved by a two
thirds majority vote of the stock
holders.
6.
The time for which the corpor
ation Is to have existence Is
thrlty-flve (35) years, with the
privilege of renewal of the char
ter, from time to time, upon the
expiration of said periods of
thirty-five years.
7.
The county In which the princi
pal office of the corporation Is to
be located Is Newton County,
Georgia, but the privilege Is de
sired of establishing branch of
fices and places of business both
within and without the State of
Georgia.
8.
The post office address of each
and all of the applicants for char
ter Is set out at the beginning of
this petition.
9.
Petitioners further desire that
by-laws of the corporation shall
be adopted by the common stock
holders, and such by-laws shall
provide for the officers of the
corporation, the manner of their
selection, and such other rules
appropriate to by-laws which
have as their purpose and control
and management of the corpora
tion, Including provisions where
by the by-laws may be amended.
10.
Your petitioners herewith
exhibit a certificate of the Secre
tary of the State of Georgia as
required by Section 23-1803,
Georgia Code Annotated.
11.
WHEREFORE, petitioners
pray to be incorporated under the
name and style aforesaid with all

Ga., participated in ‘‘Fairgame
IV,” a joint French-U.S. naval
training exercise in the western
Mediterranean and on Corsica as
a crewmember aboard the attack
aircraft carrier USS America.
Fairgame is conducted annu
ally between U.S. Sixth Fleet and
French naval forces to provide
tactical training In conducting
air, amphibious and naval opera
tions, as well as defense methods
against them.
The three-phase exercise be
gan with U.S. and French carrier
task forces training In combined
support operations. Participat
ing French and U.S. submarine
forces provided mock opposition
to the carriers.
