Troop 58 Scouts
Took Trip To Flo.
Scout Troop 58 took a Spring
Holiday trip to Ft. Clinch Park
near Fernandina, Fla. Twenty
four boys and nine adults weht
on the trip.
The highlight of the trip was
touring the aircraft Carrier
Roosevelt, which was anchored
at Mayport Naval Station. The
scouts were Impressed at the
size of the ship, which was 1,000
ft. long.
The Park was very beautiful
and while there, we toured the
old fort, looked for shells on the
beaches, and some of the boys
went swimming.
Enjoying the Florida spring
holidays trip were: Randall
Allen, Bill Brooks, Warren Chr
istian, Stephen Hinton, Joe Heard
Jr., Brad Morris, Sammy Pat
rick, Mike Walden, William Law

a birthday dinner given in his
honor by his family at his home
at 606 North Emory Street. The
buffet dinner was in recognition
of his 89th birthday, which was
March 25.
Mr. Bouchillon and his late
wife, Mrs. Florence. Ray Bouch
illon, have been residents of
Covington since 1908. They have
four children, twelve grand
children, 17 great-grandchild
ren, many of whom were pre
sent Sunday to help him enjoy
this special day. During the
afternoon many other friends and
relatives called to extend best
wishes and congratulations.
