Eleven 4-H Scholarships Given
At Rock Eagle Council Meet
For eleven delegates attending
the 33rd annual Georgia 4-H Club
Council meeting at Rock Eagle
this week, the leadership
citizenship conference was pro
fitable as well as educational.
The eleven were named Tues
day, June 7, as recipients of
1966 state 4-H scholarship
awards.
Worth a total of $2,080, the
awards were made possible by
eight different donors. Miss
Rhonwyn Lowry, associate state
4-H leader with the University of
Georgia Extension Service, in
troduced the winners at the Coun
cil meeting’s general assembly
Tuesday morning.
