held its final meeting of the
year at the lovely home of Mrs.
William Ballenger with assistant
hostesses being Mrs. David Dodd,
Mrs. Tom Freeman, Mrs. Blake
Armstrong, Mrs. Ed Manley and
Mrs. Paul Adams.
In an impressive installation
ceremony conducted by Mrs. Sam
houseguest of C. J. Elkins during
last week.

vice. Mrs. David Dodd, incom
ing president, praised members
for their active history in com
munity service and stressed con
tinued cooperation among the
group for a successful year.
New members welcomed were
Mrs. Bruce Donnigan, Mrs. Bon
ham Johnson and Mrs. Lanier
Morris.
A delicious luncheon was ser
ved by the hostesses with the
table overlaid with a white linen
cloth and an arrangement of mag
nolia blossoms attractively cen
tering the table. Miniature ar
rangements of roses were feat
ured on the individual tables
overlaid with white linen cloths,
where guests were seated.
Mrs. Tom Crenshaw, outgoing
president, was presented a gift
from members in appreciation
for her capable leadership dur
ing 1965-66. After extending
her thanks to the members she
turned the gavel over to Mrs.
Dodd.
