A strong supporter of the re

wife of the Georgia Methodist
bishop, said the meeting will
actually be a “ministers’ wives
getaway’’. “We want the wives
to come and enjoy themselves,
leaving their cares at home”,
she declared. She said the time
spent in the retreat can be one
of the best helps for the local
church. “Itallows the minister’s
wife to get away from the daily
routine and do some thinking,”
Mrs. Smith said.
