Mrs. Sammy Herring was per
mitted to return Monday, from
Emery University Hospital,
where she was a patient for the
past two weeks, following an auto
mobile accident; and, are ex
tending good wishes for her early
recovery.

were gracious hosts at a family
dinner, on Sunday, at the Pro
gressive Club, in Atlanta, upon
the occasion of the birthday of
their sister, Mrs. Paul Wolkin.

Mrs. J. J. Douglas, who has
been the houseguest of her sister,
Mrs. L. J. Moore, returned to
her home in Memphis, Tenn.,
Wednesday. During her visit,
Mrs. Douglas was the inspiration
for a number of delightful social
gatherings.

Mrs. Randall Rosser, the for
mer Brenda Lott, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. 0. T. Lott, left
Saturday, January 14, by plane
to make her home in Hawaii
with her husband, who is serving
a tour of duty with the US Army
and Is stationed in Hawaii.

glad to know he Is able to return
to work after being a patient at
Georgia* Baptist Hospital, At
lanta, last week for surgery.

City Clerk of Covington, are
glad to know she is improving
at Newton County Hospital, where
she was taken last Saturday
morning following an automobile
accident enroute to work. She
Is being extended best wishes
for continued Improvement and
hopes she will soon be able tc

attended the Newton-Henry Coun
