THE MAMMOTH C-s—This is how the giant C-5A Lockheed-Georgia Company is building for the Air
Force would look if it were placed on Grant Field in Atlanta. Dobbins Air Force Base, Naval Air
Station Atlanta and all the services are Joining with Lockheed-Georgia to invite citizens of Georgia and
surrounding states to visit the giant aerospace plant at Marietta for the annual Open House on Armed For
ces Day Saturday, May 20. A full-scale mockup of the huge aircrafi^-to be the world’s largest—will
De open ’for Inspection and walk-through by the public. The event—from 10 a. m. to 4p. m.—also will
feature numerous displays—static and flying, on the ground and in the air—by all branches of the ser
vice. Parking and admission are free.
