The authentic English Village will be the first of six sectors encountered by the visitor to SIX FLAGS
Over Georgia. The sl2 million park will portray Georgia’s history under dominant flags in the state's
colorful history. Upwards of 1,200,000 visitors are anticipated during 1967 after SIX FLAGS opens in
early June.

Covington Service Guild Selling
Tickets To ‘Six Flags Over Ga. ’
The Covington Service Guild
is selling tickets to SIX FLAGS
Over Georgia’s Special Preview
Week for Thursday, Friday and
Saturday — June 8, 9 and 10.
Guests visiting the park on these
days will be among the first to
see the sl2 million amusement
center and before it opens of
ficially to the public, June 16.
This is a state wide project
of the Georgia Federation of Wo
men’s Clubs with a large per
centage of the ticket sales bene
fiting the Federation’s Tallulah
Falls School. Known as “The
Light In the Mountains,” the sc
hool was founded In 1909 by the
Federation. Proceeds from the
project will be used to pay off
the existing debt on the boy’s
dormitory at the school.
SIX FLAGS Over Georgia is a
new 276-acre family entertain
ment center deslnted to be the
number one tourist attraction In
the South. The park features
many varied rides, shows and at
tractions designed to appeal to
kids from six to sixty. SIX FLAGS

tickets are $3.95 (12 years of age
and up) and children’s tickets
are $2.95. Children under three
are admitted free. Once a guest
buys a ticket, he pays for nothing
else except food and souvenirs,
and he may enjoy the rides and
shows as often as he likes with
out paying an additional cent.
Tickets are good for an entire
operating day which runs from
10:00 a. m. until 10:00 p. m.
