Mr. and Mrs. J, B, Henderson
have returned home after visiting
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E, Stewart
in Douglas. Their daughter-in
law, Mrs. Jimmy Henderson, who
had been visiting her parents, Mr,
and Mrs., J. B, Cannon in Way
cross, joined them there and
returned to Covington with them
for a visit before going to San
Diego, California to join her hus
band, who is now stationed there
with the Navy.

Private Edward Clark, 19, son
of Mr, and Mrs. Willie G. Clark,
Route 1, Mansfield, Ga., com
pleted nine weeks of advanced
infantry training June 2 at Ft.
Gordon, Ga. His last week of
training was spent in guerrilla

FT. KNOX, KY., (AHTNC)—
Private David O, Clay, 20, son
of Mr. and Mrs, Jesse O, Clay,
Route 2, Covington, Ga., com=
pleted a radio course at the
Army Training Center, Ft. Knox,
Ky., May 26.
During the 10-week course,
he received instruction in basic
radio and electrical theory and
was taught the international
Morse code.
