City Court Had
10 Cases Mon.
Covington City Court had one
of its lightest dockets Monday
as only 10 cases were called
for trial by Judge E. W. Stro
zier. Weather conditions may
have had a bearing or. the num
ber of tickets given to automo
bile drivers and to other per
sons violating city ordinances.
One person faced a double
charge of driving under the in
fluence of intoxicants and dri
ving without a license. He for
feited his $175 bond on these
two charges. Two others had
cases called on charges of reck
less driving and speeding.
The only other case not involv
ing traffic violations during the
past week, was that of a man ch
arged with being drunk. He for
feited his bond.
