The amount of capital with
which the corporation will begin
business shall be $5,000.00,
either in cash or other assets
or a combination of the two.

WHEREAS, a body of business
and professional people of the
City of Covington, Georgia, met
at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, April
22, 1968, at the REA Building
in Covington, Georgia; and
WHEREAS, this body feels that
a committee should be sent to
see the Mayor and Council of
the City of Covington and com
mend them for their services
rendered and the fine job that
they have done; and
WHEREAS, this body feels that
the City of Covington Is exper
iencing a tremendous growth;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RE
SOLVED that this body of inter
ested citizens of the City of
Covington hereby recommends
to the Mayor and Council of the
City of Covington that immediate
steps be taken to hire a quali
fied city manager and that the
City of Covington be operated
according to the Charter of the
City of Covington and other laws
governing the operation of said
city.
