she worked in the Primary De
partment of the Sunday School
and was superintendent when her
home responsibilities necessi
tated relinquishment five years
ago.
Their lovely home on Pine
crest Drive in Covington, which
she and Mr, Costley share with
their children, Mr, and Mrs,
Jerry Aldridge, and granddaugh
ter, five year old Cindy, will
keep her very busy, When there
i{s an idle moment, no doubt,
she will pick up a needle and
a ball of yarn to crochet booties
for somebody’s new baby,

Open House
Held At Elks

A idmore Hospital
Orientation and Open House
day was held at the Georgia
Elks Aidmore Hospital on April
28. The main purpose of the
occasion was to inform new of
ficers of Elks Lodges and the
ladies Elks Aidmore Auxiliar
fes of the work being done for
crippled and handicapped child
ren.
The program at Aidmore is
financed and managed by the
Georgia Elks. Generous dona=-
tions from both the lodges and
auxiliaries help to carry on a
program of more than ordinary
hospital care. At Aidmore the
children receive dental care,
classroom study, and recrea
tional an d social activities in
addition to the finest medical
care.
Past Grand Exalted Ruler Ro=-
bert Pruitt attend the meeting and
praised the men and ladies for
the fine work being done. As
Grand Exalted Ruler, Mr. Pruitt
visited all 50 states, and he stated
that the Georgia Elks Association
has one of the most worthwhile
and well managed projects of
