Personals
Mr. and Mrs. Lee Stephenson
had as their luncheon guests last
Wednesday Wilson Fullbright of
Rome, and a friend Bill Mangrum
of Sherman, Texas. Mr. Full
bright is the brother-in-law of
the Stephenson's daughter, Sara.
Both men are Vietnam Veterans
and Mr. Fullbright, now a wheel
chair patient, has recently been
released from Walter Reed Hos
pital after suffering severe in
juries last October in service in
Vietnam.

THE PUPILS of the fourth grade of the East Newton Elementary School visited the State Capitol on
April 22. They were graciously escorted around the Capitol by Miss Brown, a guide, and after the tour
were asked to sing the song, “God Bless America.” The pupils talked with Governor Lester Maddox,
and before leaving were Invited to have their pictures taken with him. Mrs. Equalla C. James, Mrs.
Sarah N. Syphoe and James Robinson were the teachers who went with the pupils.

to Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Dearing

lanta, and his guests Miss Kathy
Sewell, also of Atlanta.

tol, England. Enroute, they are
visiting Mr. and Mrs. David Ad
air stationed at an Air Force
Base in Iceland. While visiting
for three weeks in England, these
excited Americans anticipate
trips to London, Liverpool, and

All citizens owning dogs ore advised to
have their dogs inoculated for rabies. A
concerted effort will be made to catch all
dogs that have not been inoculated this
year. On and after Mar. 1, 1968 those
dogs caught that have not been innocu
lated will be impounded for (5) days and if
not claimed during that period will be
destroyed.
We invite the cooperation of all our
citizens in carrying out this program of
protecting its citizens against rabies.
