carrying out of the transactions
mentioned in this paragraph and
elsewhere in this petition.

The sole object of the propos
ed institution is to provide its
members, and guests within the
areas of Newton County and sur
rounding counties with whole
some recreation and fraternal
environment, good will, and co
operation between all users of
the CITIZEN RADIO SERVICE;
to offer technical advise to mem
bers; to help members interpret
the meaning of Part 95; and to
disseminate information regard
ing new FCC rulings and actions
concerning CITIZEN RADIO
SERVICE.
Further, it is the desire and
intent of the corporation to pro
vide financial help to worthwhile
charitable causes which promote
educational, charitable, and his
torical activities, for acquiring
and retaining of knowledge and
understanding, and to promote
and foster a mutual understand
ing and good will toward “THE
PIEDMONT C. B. CLUB, INC.”,
to engage in such activities as
shall raise the standard of civic
morality and community welfare
through educational and social
facilities.
Said corporation does not In
tend to make any profit for any
individual whatsoever and any
assets held by said corporation
upon dissolution or expiration
shall be divided among worth
while charities.

make all necessary by-laws and
to do all other things necessary
to carry out the purpose of said
corporation.

pray to be incorporated under
the name and style aforesaid,

called the applicants, shows the
following facts:

The principal office of said cor
poration is located in said coun
ty, and said corporation was in
corporated under the “Corpora
tion Act of 1938” on the 29th day
of March, 1961.

The petition is brought to amend
the Charter of said corporation
in the particular hereinafter set
out, this proposed amendment
having been favorable voted for

at a special meeting called for
