MEMORIAL SERVICE was held Sunday morning in honor of Tony Bennett of Covington when Geor
gia National Guard Company A’ 248th Signal Battalion held its regular meeting at the local Nation
al Guard Armory. Rev. Thomas White, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, Covington, is sh=-
own speaking at the special service. Bennett was the victim of an automobile accident two weeks
ago. He was a member of the local signal battalion unit.
