Observe Week
Os Prayer
Members of the Woman’s Mis
sionary Union of Covington First
Baptist Church will observe the
Annie Armstrong Week of
Prayer, March 2-8, with pro
grams related to Home Missions,
at the church, throughout the
week. "Hie offering this year has
been designated as the Annie
Armstrong Easter Offering, and
will go toward the promotion of
Baptist Mission work conducted
in all states of the nation.
Mrs. Rembert Kitchens, WMU
Director has announced the fol
lowing programs on the stated
days, with Mrs. A. D. Barnett
as WMS Director, and leaders
of the various groups in charge:
Monday March 3, at 2:30
p. m., Myrtle Combs WMS, Mrs.
N. S. Avery president; Tuesday
at 7:30 p. m., Night WMS, Mrs.
Reuben Rutledge, president;
Wednesday evening, 7:30 p. m.,
Girls’ Auxiliaries, Mesdames
Robert Mauney and Billy Laseter;
Thursday 10:00 a. m., Mary Mal
lard WMS, Mrs. Richard George,
president. On Friday, the day will
be observed in homes of mem
bers, who will join in chain
prayers for Home Missionaries
and the Home Mission program,
beginning at 10:00 a. m.
