visited Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur
Jones, Thursday evening.

C. H. Hays visited Mrs. Ethel
Hays in Covington on Monday
evening.

Little Kim and Kerri Pace of
Decatur spent the weekend with
their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.
Jim Hitchcock.

Mrs. Mattie India Sigman spent
last week in Covington with her
children, the William Crawfords.
She was spend the day guest
of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Harwell
on Tuesday. Thursday, May 15th
was Mrs. Crawford’s and her
twin borther’s birthday, Mr. Idus
Harwell of Conyers. They cele
brated with a birthday supper at
the home of the Crawfords. Mem
bers of both families attended.

Mrs. Cleo Harper attended the
funeral of Mrs. Pearle Aaron in
Covington, Sunday evening. Mrs.
Aaron was Mrs. Harper’s aunt.

and Lynn visited Mrs. S. L. Vau
ghn on Jackson Highway, Sunday
evening.

Miss Pauline Hardman spent
a short while with her aunt, Mrs.
Mattie India Sigman, Sunday
evening. On Friday Mrs. Sig
man and Mrs. Fred Harwell of
Covington drove to Georgia Tech.
Danny Harwell returned home
with them for the weekend.

day with relatives in Atlanta.

ternoon with Vicki Hays.

the W. S. C. S. district meet
ing at the Martha Brown Metho
dist Church in Atlanta on Thurs
day.

Mrs. Leroy Butts returned to
her home at Cape Kennedy, Flori
da on Saturday after a week visit
with Rev. and Mrs. Tommy Betts,
Debra and Michael.

Rev. David Wills will be the
speaker at the Methodist Church
on Sunday May 25th due to the
absence of the pastor. Every
one is cordially invited to at
tend.

Mrs. W. E. Scarbrough spent
the weekend with her sister, Mrs.
Ruth Jones of Decatur. On Fri
day night Mrs. Scarbrough, her
brother, Mr. Claud Hulsey and
sister, Mrs. Ruth Jones had supp
er at the Morrison Cafeteria at
the airport.
