Baughers To
Tour Europe
A Covington couple will tour
Europe as delegates to four pha
ses of the International “Peace
on Earth” Convention of Jeho
vah’s Witnesses this summer.
John E. Baugher of 1671 Floyd
Street, presiding minister of the
Covington Congregation of Je
hovah’s Witnesses, and his wife
will spend several weeks attend
ing assemblies at London, Eng
land; Paris, France; Nuremberg,
Germany; and Rome, Italy.
Other countries on their travel
schedule are Holland, Swit
zerland, and Austria.
The Baughers will join a con
tingent of thousands of North
American delegates attending as
semblies abroad.
Because the “Peace on Earth”
convention Is being held in glo
bal stages, some delegates will
follow its itinerary to other po
ints of the earth; Korea, Japan,
Hong Kong, the Philippines, Aus
tralia, and Hawaii, eventually
making the continental return by
way of a five-day convention in
Mexico City, December 24-28.
Before their forlegn tour, MT.
and Mrs. Baugher will accompany
other members of the Covington
congregation to the opening phase
of the “Peace on Earth” conven
tion at Atlanta Stadium July 6-13.

8:00 o’clock. In this study to

Bible prophecy.
The speaker for this week wiU
be Pastor Arthur E. Glass of the
Druid Park Avenue Bible Chu
rch, Augusta. His subject will
be, “The Majestic Predictions
of a Mad Prophet”. Pastor
Glass is a Christian Jew.
