Announcement of the ap
pointment was made by Alumni
Association President Lucy Nell
Cunningham Smith of Tennille.
The Georgia College alumni
are seeking a record $32,000 in
contributions. Mrs. Smith said
the bulk of the money will go
toward providing scholarships
and financial assistance for
deserving students.
