Southern Crescent
installs Wifi hotspots
Southern Crescent
Technical College (SCTC)
is helping students get
better connected to
technology with the ad
dition of eight new Wi-Fi
hotspots recently in
stalled throughout each
campus location. These
new access points allow
the Wi-Fi signal to easily
reach into the parking
lots so students can con
nect to the internet to
log into online classes or
complete assignments.
“With some students liv
ing in rural communities,
internet access can some
times be a challenge,” said
Southern Crescent Tech
nical College President
Dr. Alvetta Thomas. “We
understand the difficulties
and challenges that this
pandemic has brought
on our students and we
hope this will be one less
hurdle for our students to
overcome.”
Since March, many
SCTC classes have contin
ued in virtual formats and
students and faculty have
had to adapt to new deliv
ery methods for teach
ing and learning. Many
of these platforms are
completely reliant on the
Internet, so having access
to Wi-Fi is now crucial to
a student’s success.

He Already Has The Answer
“Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked and there behind
him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham
went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering
instead of his son” Genesis 22:13
Do you have problems, concerns and worries today? More
than likely you do. We all do, but I have good news. God
already has the answer!
Abraham thought he had a problem when he was going up
to Mt. Moriah to sacrifice Isaac. He didn’t know how his need
was going to be met. But the moment Abraham started up one
side of that mountain with Isaac, on the other side a ram start
ed up, the ram that was going to be the substitute for Isaac.
Abraham never saw the ram, but God saw it. God sent it. God
planned for that ram to be there, long in advance.
God always has a plan for you, too. He already knows what
you are facing, and He already has the answer.
