and Daddy comes HOME! #USAF.” He is the son of Zachary
Johnson who is stationed at Moody Air Force Base and
currently deployed.
Kids of all ages and their family members enjoyed the an
nual Independence Day parade in downtown Concord July 3.
Work To Do
“Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those
who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and
who admonish youI Thessalonians 5:12
Living your life as a follower of Jesus requires work. Just being a
spectator will not cut it.
I know what you are thinking. Gods Word teaches us in Ephesians
chapter 2 that we are saved by grace through faith in Christ Jesus and
not by our own efforts or works.
It is true that we are saved by grace through our faith in Jesus, but I
urge you to dig deeper.
The Apostle Paul gives the church at Thessalonica some interesting in
structions in Thessalonians 5:12 . Jesus spoke to his Disciples in Mat
thew 9:37, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” James
2:26 teaches us that faith without works is dead. Hard work is a must.
God always uses the work of people just like you and I to accomplish
his ultimate plan.
I have work to do, Just a thought.... “BE THE LIGHT”.
