CITY OF WILLIAMSON
GENERAL ELECTION, QUALIFYING DATES, FEE
The City of Williamson will hold a General Election on Novem
ber 2, 2021, for City Council Post 2 and Post 3. If needed, a runoff
election will be held Tuesday, November 30.
Pursuant to O.C.G.A. 21-2-132, qualifying for candidates for this
election will open on August 16, 2021, 8:00 a.m., and will close on
August 18, 2021, 4:00 p.m. Candidates desiring to qualify may do so
at the office of the city clerk at Williamson City Hall.
O.C.G.A. 21-2-131 provides that the governing authority of each
City shall, in any year in which a general primary or election is to be
held, fix, and publish a qualifying fee for each city office to be filled in
the upcoming primary or election. The qualifying fee for Williamson
City Council is $25.00.

PIKE COUNTY BOARD OF APPEALS
MONTHLY MEETING
6:00 p.m. July 15, 2021
The Pike County Board of Appeals will conduct its scheduled monthly meeting on July
15, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. on the second floor of the Pike County Courthouse located at 16001
Barnesville Street, Zebulon, Georgia. The Board will conduct PUBLIC HEARINGS on the

(1) Special Exception application SE-21-07. Pine Valley Concrete Company, Inc./Frank Ba

CITY OF WILLIAMSON
SPECIAL ELECTION, QUALIFYING, FEES
Notice is hereby given that pursuant to O.C.G.A. 21-3-51(b), the
City of Williamson called a special election to be held on September
21, 2021, for the office of City Council Member, Post 5 to fill the
unexpired term of Brenda Bennett, who resigned on May 6, 2021.
Pursuant to O.C.G.A. 21-3-91, qualifying for candidates for said
election will open on August 2, 2021, 8:00 a.m., and will close on
August 4, 2021, 4:00 p.m. Candidates desiring to qualify may do so
at the Office of the City Clerk of Williamson.
O.C.G.A. 21-1-131 provides that the governing authority of each
City shall, in any year in which a general primary or election is to be
held, fix, and publish a qualifying fee for each city office to be filled in
the upcoming primary or election. The qualifying fee for City Coun
cil is $25.00 for the City of Williamson.
