Makia Jenkins graduates, earns
Juris Doctorate, masters degree
Makia Jenkins of the
Pike County Class of
2015, graduated from
Thomas Goode Jones
School of Law on May
15, 2021, earning her
Juris Doctorate as well
as her Master’s in Law
of Dispute Resolution.
During her time at
Thomas Goode Jones
School of Law, she
served as the president
of the Jones Public In
terest Law Foundation,
events committee chair
for the Board of Advo
cates, senior editor for
the Southern Journal
of Policy and Justice, a
3L Honor Court Justice
and the social action
director for the South
ern Region Black Law
Student Association.
She is the daughter
of Michael and Brandie
Lynn.

Dalton Williams earns degree
A total of 105 stu
dents completed the
requirements for gradu
ation from Abraham
Baldwin Agricultural
College at the end of
the 2021 summer term,
including one student
from Pike County.
Dalton Lee Williams
of Concord earned a
bachelor of science de
gree in agribusiness.
ABAC President Da
vid Bridges noted that
72 of those graduates
received bachelor’s
degrees.

Day ceremony on
Wednesday, Sept. 15.
The ceremony con
sisted of grades Pre-K
through fifth grade
choirs singing to their
grandparents in the au
dience. The auditorium
at Rock Springs was
completely packed full.
Senior pastor and
chancellor, Benny Tate,
shared a brief, impact
ful message that was
followed by several
grandparents giving
their lives to Christ.

Day ceremony.
