Free COVID 19 & Flu Vaccination Drive-Thru
Clinic: On the University of Georgia Griffin Campus,
1109 Experiment Street, Griffin. The clinic is sched
uled for Thursday, Oct. 28 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
The Pfizer vaccine is available to those ages 16 and
up. The first and second Pfizer booster doses will also
be offered. No registration is required. Please bring
your identification. Enter the campus from Experi
ment Street on University Drive. The drive-thru clinic
will be set up in the visitor parking lot. There will be
a giveaway for two UGA football tickets. For more

Michael Jacob McCall, 18, aggravated battery and
possession of firearm or knife while trying to commit
crimes;
Dustin Andrew McDaniel, 24, adult restraint law
seat belt violation, driving on wrong side of the road,
two counts failure to drive within single lane, fail
ure to obey stop sign, failure to obey traffic control
device, reckless driving, speeding, unlawful use of
central lane and fleeing or attempting to elude a
police officer;
Claude Watson, 24, probation violation (when pro
bation terms are altered) for fingerprintable charge;

Susie Pape
Mrs. Susie Victoria Allen Pape, age 84, of William
son, passed away October 17, 2021, at her home. She
was born on February 3, 1937, in Carthage, MS. Susie
was preceded in death by
her parents, Nathaniel Elias
Allen and Lillian “Polly”
Truesdale Allen, and her
younger brother, Nathan
Allen, Jr.
Susie is survived by her
husband of 36 years: Ernest
Marshall Pape; children:
Natalie Ryder Henn Prue
and James Brent Ryder;
grandsons: Trevor Stephen
Henn and Connor Christian
Henn; and her younger sis
ter: Betty Josephine Allen
de Neve.
Susie was a long-time member of Mt. Gilead Baptist
Church in Griffin, where she sang in the choir and
worshipped Jesus, her Lord and Savior. Susie was de
lighted to be a wife and mother, and was dedicated to
helping her husband run his wholesale rose business.
She and Marshall enjoyed traveling all over the world.
Susie always had a heart for the elderly, spending
time comforting and ministering to them in their
homes and in nursing homes. Being a grandmother to
Trevor and Connor was one of the greatest joys in her
life. She, “Nana,” was very active and involved in the
lives of her grandsons who cherished her.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, October
23, 2021 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Moody-Daniel
Funeral Home with Pastor Harvey Wilson and Pastor
Jim Hardie officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Gilead
Baptist Church Cemetery, 14550 US 19, Griffin, GA.
Friends visited the family on Saturday, October 23
from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Moody-Daniel Funeral Home assisted the family
with arrangements.
