OBITUARIE
Ruth Bridges
Mrs. Ruth Helen Shivers Bridges, age 96, of William
son, passed away November 7, 2021, at her home. She
was born in Griffin, daughter of the late Joseph Henry
Shivers and Biddie Green Shivers. Ruth and her hus
band, Hammett, operated the Concord Bargain Store
for many years. She also worked in the meat depart
ment at Publix. Ruth was active in the Forever Young
Club and worked in the Canteen as a volunteer at
local blood drives. She enjoyed short vacation trips.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in
death by her husband Hammett Bridges and her son-
in-law Wm. (Whitey) Rhodes.
She is survived by her daughter Patricia Rhodes of
Williamson and her adopted loving Hatchett family.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, Novem
ber 11, 2021 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Moody-Daniel
Funeral Home with Pastor Thomas Lee officiat
ing. Burial followed in Moody Memorial Gardens.
Friends visited the family on Thursday from 12
noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Moody-Daniel Funeral Home assisted the family
with arrangements.

Crystal Brubaker, 37, disorderly conduct, obstruc
tion of an officer and simple battery;
Lisa Marie Granger, 41, warrants out of Snellville;
Jeffery Wilson Smith, 45, cruelty to children family
violence act, criminal trespass family violence act
and simple assault family violence act.
ZEBULON POLICE DEPARTMENT:
Gabriel Remante Griffith, 43, disorderly conduct;
Braden Chambliss Maisonet, 17, DU1 alcohol, DU1
drugs, driving with learner’s permit without license,
failure to drive within single lane and speeding;
Earlijua Nijalon Middlebrooks, 25, two counts duty
upon striking fixture, DUI drugs, driving wrong way
on one way street, failure to drive within single lane,
failure to provide assistance; report accident and
flashing red or yellow signals;
Priscilla Perez, 24, driving while license suspended
or revoked and speeding.

Pike County Retired Educators Association
meeting: Monday, Nov. 22 at 11 a.m. in the Mt. Olive
Church Fellowship Hall in Molena. Guest speaker will
be Sherri Moody who will also be hosting the meal.
The J. Joel Edwards Public Library: Will be
closed Nov. 25-27 for Thanksgiving.
