We even had okra tattoos!” Dave Marler visited the school recently to check on the site and to deliver spring pollinating bulbs. “Mrs. Zuke’s third grade class showed him the baby okras and asked him 1,000 questions about farming and soil,” said Wood. “Fun was had by all!” The PCES Farmers Mar ket will open in March and spring flowers and veggies that the students’ helped grow will be available for purchase.
