the J. Joel Edwards Public Library in Zebulon.
Duties for this full-time position include a variety
of complex operations of the library, including staff
supervision, budget management and strategic

BOARD VACANCY
The Pike County Board of Education is accepting letters of
interest from individuals who desire to be considered for the
vacant District 5 seat. The appointment will begin on
February 14, 2024, and will be for the remainder of the term,
which expires on December 31, 2024.
To be eligible for appointment, candidates must meet the following
qualifications:
• Be a Georgia citizen
• Be a resident of Pike County for at least 12 months and reside
within District 5
• Be a qualified voter
Disqualifying circumstances include, but are not limited to, being
employed by or serving on the governing board of any private education
body or institution or being employed by Pike County Schools or the
Georgia Department of Education. A more complete summary of
qualifications and responsibilities, as well as a map of Pike County voting

Pike County Board of Commissioners is seeking Request
for Proposal for an Impact Fee Study
Pike County, Georgia is seeking sealed competitive bids for an Impact Fee
Study. Pike County invites qualified consultants to submit their proposals to
provide the County with an Impact Study. The County assesses a variety of
impact fees on new development and re-development to help the County
pay for the infrastructure that the new development activity will require.
The specifications for this request for proposals may be obtained at the
Pike County Board of Commissioners located at 331 Thomaston Street
Zebulon, Georgia or viewed online at www.Dikecoaa.com.
Proposals must be delivered or mailed in a sealed envelope no later
than 5:00 p.m. on January 26, 2024. Sealed bids shall be marked on the
outside of the envelope as “RFP for Impact Fee Study Attn: Angela Blount”
and delivered to the Pike County Board of Commissioners office at 331
Thomaston Street Zebulon, GA 30295 before the specified deadline. The
opening of the bids shall be made at the regularly scheduled meeting of the
Pike County Board of Commissioners on February 14, 2024, at 9:00 a.m.
