Fort Worth, Tex., Sept. 28.—Tho grand jury has found true bills against City Secretary R. V. Burns and A. B. Mabry, secretary of the waterworks. These officials are charged with malfea sance in appropriating tho funds of the city to their own use. Not Soldiers But Citizens. Knoxville, Sept. 28—Affairs in the Druuuuond lynching case have assumed- altogether a different shape. The report comes from a reliable source' that not soldiers but citizens of Briceville are about to be convicted of the lynching. Indicted for Killing Bis Brother. St. Louis. Sept. 28.—Charley Gorman and Jimmie Golden, 15 years old, last Wednesday kidnapped Harry Clayton, 10 years old. and locked him in a box car, where they kept him two days. In this time they waited his mother twice, demanding $20 ransom. At last it was promised them, and they were arrested when they released Harry. They were fined and sent to the house of refuge.
