OBITUARY.
The infant daughter, aged two years
itnd three months, of Mr. and }Irs. V..
L. Stanton of Waycross, died last Thurs
day morning, March, 25th, and was
buried here March 26. The angel o;
death came with a determination to rid
our Biend and his estimable wife of
their treasure, for after an illness of only
two days the fluttering spirit of Helen
was wafted to the regions beyond, leav
ing mother, father anil friends to mourn
tho loss of a flow or too tender for this
nigged sphere, cud which can only
bloom in the "Garden of Rest.” It was
a patient child though tender and young (
for said a friend of the stricken on
"The child, with its parents lived at
my honse eleven months, and I never
knew it to cry in all that time.” Then,
it was, that God saw and loved the good
child and took it away from earth to live [
with Him in love and bliss. Those u ho
mourn have our heartfelt sympathy in !
their loss for wo have felt the chasten
