Tuesday’*' Daily
The disgraceful conduct of
sonio half a dozen young men at
the thoutre last night, is the
principal topic of conversation
on the streets today. It is to bo
greatly regretted that the jack
ass killer was not present; that
theatre-goers might have the ass
snrance that they will not bo ins
suited in future.
The whiskey which made
woukor, several already weuk
brains, must have been especial-
mean, and 1 lie gentlemen who
escorted ladies to tho theatre
should see that the management
take steps to prevent anything
a like occurrence in future.
The young men who were trys
ing to have “fun" at the expeuse
the players, uo doubt enjoyed
their part of the alTair, but it
wus net very pleasant to those
who were compelled to leave the
thoaire iu the m'dst of tho per-
formanco, because of the young
men, whose presence alone in
such a condition, was an insult.
At evory performance in the
past, Manager Brinson has had
policemau stationed in the gal'
lery. In future he will provide
ofliccr whoso special duty
will bo to seo that jack asses are
kept out of tho dress circle, and
that cases arc docketed against
any one who creates a disturbs
unco of any kiud iu the theatre
during u performance.
