Mr. Albert Ratliff came home Sunday from Savannah snd spent the day with his parents. • Those cannon crackers are a nuisance and dangerous. They should be cut out of the Christ mas jubilee. Waycross kids have had a fine time and the poor have been looked after. Don’t stop advertising because Christmas is supposed to be over. If you do you will loss the ground you have gained. The Chrialmas turkey,the oys tors and the cranberry sauce have all passed away at tho editors house but we have that b g pun- kin left and will by yiriue of ne cessity commence on it today. Mr. J M Newsom brother of W H Newsom,is in the city. He comes from North Curolina and reports very cold weather. Mr. Newsom is going southward. - Tho ed'torsof the Herald and their families received many un expected presents on Christmas day. They came from Maine to Florida and are highly appre ciated. Tho Herald is delighted to know that Mr. Brinson’s throat is much better. Tho fish lone is gone. Mrs. Allen Hrownof Waycross spent Saturday and Sunday in town with relatives.
