The oyster roast for the benefit of
the repair funds of the Presbyterian
church, will be held at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Price, on Steph
enson street Thursday night beginning
at 7:30. Mr. Price received a letter
this morning stating that eight bar
rels of the finest Dafuskee single
oysters would be shipped to WnycrosB
by expres tonight and that they were

ing of sympathy was held at the Amer
ican Chamber of Commerce here to
day. Ambassador McCormick presid
ed and those present subscribed one
thousand francs for the immediate re
lief of the families of the victims.

home. The ladies are -selling tickets
at 75 cents, which may be purchased
on the streets or at the home of Mr.
