PETITION FOR CHARTER.

retary of State:
The Petition of C M Sweat, W. R
Beach and M. L. Moore, all of Way-
Croat*, Georgia, respectfully showa:
Flrat: That they and their asso
ciate* desire to become a body poli
tic and corporate under the name
and style of "The Exchange Bank of
Waycross."
Second: The location and prin
cipal place of business of said corpor
ation will be Waycross, Ware County,
Georgia.
Tolrd: The amount of capital
stock will be aeventy five thousand
<976,000) dollars to be divided in sev
en hundred and fifty (760) shares
of a par value of one hundred
(9100.00) dollars each.
Fourth: The purpose and nature
of the business of the proposed cor
poration will be a general hanking
business.
Wherefore: Petitioners pray that
they and their associates and sue-
cesssors be created and declared a
body politic and corporate under the
name and style aforesaid with such
capacity and powers as are necessary
and incident to the busineas afore
said In terms of the statute in sach
esses made and provided.

Tbe name of the railroad corpora
tion for which petitioners thus seek
incorporation is to be, 'The Way-
cross, Baxley and ViJalia Railroad
Company," the same not being the
name of any existing railway corpora
tion in the State of Georgia.

1. That they desire for themselves,
their associates, successors and as
signs to become Incorporated under
tbe name and style ot the '“Beach
Sea Island Cotton Ginnery.” '
2. The term for which petitioners
ask to be Incorporated Is twenty (20)
years, with the privilege of renewal
at the end of that time.

ed corporation Is twenty-five hun
dred ($2600.00) dollars, divided into
shares of twenty-five ($26.00) dollars

4. Petitioners show that fifty (60)
per cent of the capital stock has al
ready been paid in, and that they de
sire to begin the operation with said

paid in as called for by the directors.
The object of the proposed con
porat'.on is pecuniary profit and gain
to its stockholders. Petitioners pro
pose to erect and construct a ginnery
and handle cotton, buying and selling
the tame for cash or credit, to make
contract* as agents and with agents
for the handling of cotton, to exercise
the nsual powers and to do all usual,
necessary and proper act* which per
tain to or may be oounected with the
huslneee; to own real estate and per
sonalty; to sue and be saed. and to
