A quiet but pretty and picturesque wedding was solemnized Wednesday afternoon at 26 Lee Avenue when Miss Nina Madeline Sutton was united in marriage to Mr. Harry F. Hammock, of Anona, Florida. The ceremony was performed by Rev. W. H. Scruggs of the First Baptist Church. ' The parlors were, prettily decorated with potted plants, ferns and trailing vines, the color schemg being green and white. —— Preceded by the two wee maidens, MissesEunlce Vann and Thelma Por ter, who acted as flower girls, and Miss Mabel Sutton, the maid of honor, the couple entered to the strains of the .Lohengrin Wedding March, played softly by Mis* Edna Hammock, sister of the groom. Throughout the cere mony Miss Hammock played very sweet and low, "Love Me and World is Mine,” and at the close, Men delssohn’s Wedding March. The bride wgs radiantly lovely In a gown'of white silk exquisitely trim med with lace, and carried a bouquet of Bride roses. Miss Sutton was gpwhed in white lingerie.and carried a bouquet of ferns. The beauty and interest of the oc casion was greatly enhanced by- the presence of a bevy of young girls, tm> sisters and friends of the brl«te and groom. The bride is the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Sutton of Way- cross. formerly of Savannah. The sroom'is a sob of Judge and Mrs. George. Wesson Hammock of* Anona, Fla., and Is conected with many of the prominent families of that section. The out of town guests were Mr. Ar chibald C. Spence and Miss Edna Hammock, .of Anona, Fla., the Misses Florence, Nelmcr, Ethelyne and Nina Oliver and Mrs. George William Burt of Savannah. Mr. and Mrs. Hammock were the recipients of many beautiful presents. After the ceremony refreshments were served. A little later amid showers of congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Ham mock left on the evening train for Jacksonville.
