Columbus, Ohio, Sept. 24.—-William Bryan is today digesting the reply of Roosevelt to the Haskell charges. He refuses to make a statement until he thoroughly familiarizes himself with the contents. Hisgen's denial to the charges brought against himself elects him to Roosevelt's aimanias club. Dispatches today say that Oklahoma gasyed when Roosevelt's reply was read. There are many rumors as to Haskell's removal from the National Committee. I Williams was today sentenced to twen ty years in the penitentiary for crlm inal assault on a nine-year-old girl. He was brought here from Atlanta under a guard of sixty deputies.
