GAS MAIN EXPLODED
FIFTEEN MEN KILLED
New York, Nor. 20.—Fifteen luea
were killed today by tha explosion of
A gas main on Gold street, between
York and Front in Brooklyn. The
men were working on a pipe when it
burst with a loud report. The work*
men were hurled in every direction.
Many were injured. The gab tgqlted
and a flame one hundred feet high
threatened nearby buildings, damag
ing several before the gas was cut
off.
