Kagan;, vice-president, s. Y. Mc Cord; irensurcr,. Robert F. Shoddon. An executive committee and a board of trustees alsu were chosen. It la tite purpose of tho league -to Inaugurate a campaign for the better enforcement of the law against crim inals and tho better care of criminals who are convicted, with a view to making them, after leaving .prison, good citizens. Williams, presiding elder of the ThomuvUle district, and was the only Invitation received by the conference, although It bad been reported that Macon might make a hid for the meet ing.
