went to Atlanta Friday afternoon in

been at the bedside of his mother,
Mrs. C. T. Ezell, who continues
quite ill, we are sorry to learn,
The friends of Mr. Sam Cohep
will be pleased to learn that he is
rapidly improving from the accident
which befell him Sunday, and will
soon be on the streets again,
Mr. Clarence Malone, of Alliance,
happened to the misfortune to have
his barn and all of the contents
burned just after dark last Sunday
evening, He sustained a heavy
loss with only a meagre insurance.

were honorees, was given by Mrs.
Doyle Camphell at her pretty home
on Railroad Avenue, Tuesday

at the Duffy street Baptist church,,
the Savannah Morning News has
this to say concerning Rev. W. T.
Granade, the new pastor of the
{ church, which will interest the Mon
ticello friends of Rev, Granade:
“T'wo large congregations attend
ed the services and were much irm
pressed with the sermons of Mr.
Granade. The new pastor is a mare
iuf ability and he is rapidly building
the church up to the standard whicte
{it deserves.”
