GEORGIA WOMEN NOT IN
CLINED TO SUFFRAGE
Atlanta, Ga., Dec. 4th.—The
assertion is made by leading
club women of Atlanta that not
three out of a hundred women
in Atlanta and the south have
any desire to vote. It is de
clared as a fact that not three
per cent of the women of At
lanta are interested in suffrage
except in a far-off and abstract
way, ‘
The women here are satis
fied, it is said, to let men run
the government so long as they
can be the queens of the homes,
and run the men.
The pretty little militant suf
fragette who came here a few
days ago with crusade speeches
and gilded “votes for women”
buttons, has gone without leav
ing so much as a ripple to tell
that she has called her Georgia
sisters to arms.
One reason, pernaps, why the
sufffragettes are not rampant
in Georgia is that the men are
not fighting the suffragette

~ “So far as lam concerned I
had rather the womenfolks of
‘my family would keep out of the
mess of politics, but if any of
them insist on having a vote,
why I say let 'em have it.” So
said a leading local politician,

California Woman Seriously
Alarmed
“A short time ago I contract
ed a severe cold which settled
on my lungs and caused me a
great deal of annoyance. I
would have bad coughing spells
and my lungs were so sore and
inflamed I began to be serious

Remedy, saying she had used it
for years. I bought a bottle and
it relieved my cough the first
night, and in a week I was rid of
the cold and soreness of my
