Old Rocky Creek, Wednesday after
noon, an awkward step from a bank
on the roadside caused him to fall
quite a distance on the hard road,
with the resulting casualty of a bad
ly injured leg, and other severe
bruises.
He was carried to his home and
Dr. Wilson, of Newborn, was called
down to see him. Latest reports are
to the effect that he is resting as
well as could be expected, but will
be confined to his bed for sometime.
It is a source of much regret to
Mr. Kelly’s many friends, all over
Jasper county, to learn of his ac
cident. ‘
