The many friends of little Miss
Saralyn Sammons are pleased to
learn that she is doing nicely after
an operation for mastoiditis at the
Macon Hospital Sunday night.
Mrs. E. B. McCullough was a re
cent guest of her sister, Mrs. J. W,
Daniel, of Macon.
Mr. and Mrs, J. P. White and Mrs.
Hattie Greer spent Thursday in At
lanta.
Messrs C. G. Henderson, Jr., Eli
Henderson, and G. W. Bearden, of
Monticello, attended the funeral of
Mr. E. C. Speer, in Americus last
Monday.
The many friends of Mr. and Mrs.
M. O. Smith regret to learn that they
have moved to Athens, where they
will make their home in the future.
Mr, and Mrs. R. J. Sammons are
with their daughter, Saralyn, at the
Macon Hospital.
Mrs. J. W. Peurifoy and Mrs.
Hamilton Mc¢Whorter spent Sunday
in Athens.

spent last Thursday with Mrs. 0. H.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Harper and

were the guests of Mr. R. W. Harper
and Miss Kate Harper Sunday.
Friends of Mr. T. B. Meriwether
and Mr. Oscar Blackwell regret to
learn of their illness. We hope they
will soon be well again.
Mrs. Pearl Johnson spent last
Wednesday in Macon.

Mrs. Addie Dooley visited her
daughter, Mrs. C. E. Cunard, near
Rocky Creek, last week.
Mr. and Mrs. J. Kyle Allen visited
Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Ivey, at Mixon
Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Grover Lumsden
spent a day last week with Mr. and
Mrs. Charlie Lumsden at Hardy's
Cross Roads.

city of Monticello who desire to vote
in the city primary this fall that it
will be necessary for them to regis
ter within the next fifty days.
No citizen of the /city will be
qualified to vote unless he or she

The entertainment given by Mr.
Elton Cunard Saturday evening was
enjoyed by quite a number of the
voung people. Many games and con
tests were played until a late hour.

ed by Mrs. A. T. King.
