The crops on the whole promise |
to be the largest on record, despite ,
the heavy luins in some localities, |
and added to this fine outlook for |
corn, cotton and other staples, is |
the unprecedented yield of fruits ’
and vegetubles, which has brought |
many millions of dollars into the |
south this season. |

at Cedartown adopted a resolution
requesting Gov. Gordon to set
apart Thursday, Oct. 17, asa day
of special thanksgiving for boun
teous harvests and protection from

Mr. Ralph Elkinsg lives at Ma.
rionsville, Mo, and is a successful
farmer, He says that he has been
