When he did not stir she knew
that something was wrong. and
turned her tearful, puzzled face to
to the older people.
“Nevor mind the bell, dariing,”

go to the fire to night.™
“But," persisted the baby, “he
always got up before when the bell
rung—why wouldn’t he wake up?
What's mamma crying for ?
What's every body crying for?”

In this, our NINTII ANNUAL CIRCULAR, we deem
it unnecessary to parade before you the usual advantages
that we have been giving our customers, as they are well
known, however we will say that we propose to do all that
we have been doing for the past EIGHT YEARS. :
Now we are offering NEW ADVANTAGES to whieh
we wish to call yonr attention, ;
We will carry an “open policy” of insurance on all cotton
in our warchouse, which dur customers can have advantage
of at the low rate we obtain by such a policy. We will
also pay ONE FOURTIL OF A CENT per pound on all
cotton sold us on account in August, ONE EIGHTII on all
