held an examination of applicants
for teacher’s licenses at the court
house in Dawson on Tharsday and
Friday,the2nd and 3rd days of the
month of January, 1890. Thurs.
day wil! be set apart for the ex
amination of the colored applicants,
Friday will be for the white appli
cants. I request applicants to come
in early on each of the above named
days. It isexpected that the pub
lic schoo will run for four months
