A Split in Clay. |
Fort GAINES, Ga., Aprd 10.—The ex
ecutive committes of Clay, at its session
iyesterday, ordercd a primary on April
30th for delegates to the congressional
convention, As the committee was
composed mainly of alliancemen, and no
effort was made to purse it of Third par
tyites, there is much dissatisfaction, es
‘pecially at the early date of selecting'
delegates to the congressionaliconventiom
in direct opposition to the action of the
district committee. The streets are
flooded with dodgers calling a grand ral
ly of the democrats at the court house
