TWO MURDER CASES
Oh Docket for Trial at This Court--Other
Maiters,
Tne fall term of Terrell superior court
convened M. nday morning.
Judge Guerry’s charge ,to the grand
jury was, as usual, concise, clear and
able. He said he thought it wceuld be
necessary to hold an adjourned ferm of
court early next year, but would leave it
largely for that Dbody to decide. He
spoke plainly about the present jail, and
sngeested that it be recommended that a
new one be built, He said the present
jail is & reflection on the county. The
rest of his charge was devored to the
usual matters. Major B. H. Hood is
foreman ot the jury.
The time of the court has so far, been
engaged in civil business. The criminal
docket will be saken up today.
There are two murder caset for trial—
Homer Willis for killing George Outlaw,
and Zip Daniel and his wife for whip
ping their child to deatl.. The criminzl
docket isunusually large, there being
now about 25 in juil and a large namber
out on bond.
If an adjournod term is held court
will adjourn Saturday. If not, it will
continue another week.
