While the question of whether or

5 Ladies on Juries,
Officials in the court house par

the ladies will begin to pay poll tax

drawing, are discussed by court at

New Grounds,
Lawyers are said to be anticipat

technical grounds to their motions
for new trials—such as allegations
of emotional verdicts, or duress or

" However unless the basic law is
changed by the proposed special ses

be--asked to serve on juries until
sometime next year.
The present law requires a list of
jurors be drawn by the jury com

jury boxes. Therefore the ladies will
be required to make their returns
for poll taxes next year-to the tax

The Whole Secret of
A Better Tire 2
Simply a Matter of the Maker’s Policies _
This you will réalize—once you
try a Brunswick-—that a super-tire
is possible only when the name
certifies that the maker is follow
ing the highest standards.
For tire making is chiefly a mat
ter of standards and policies—cost
plus care. Any maker can build @
good tire if he cares to pay per
fection’s price.
All men know Bruriswick stand
ards, for Brunswick products have
been famous for 74 years.
Formulas, fabrics and standards
vary vastly in cost. Reiaforce
ments, plies and thickness are a
matter of expense, And these vari
ations affect endurance. It rests
with the maker how far he wishes
to go—how much he can afford
to give,
For there are no secrets nor pat
ents to hold one back.
