an aero association, said to be the
first organization of the kind origi

hitch up a hofsé or even crank up
a “flivver” when ready to go to
their farms, They go around the

through the air.
Leonard MecMullin’s farms are
within a radius of 20 miles of Sikes~

them virtually every day.
“I use the aeroplane to look after
my business,” McMullin said. “I am
farming 2,000 acres of land and am
in the mercantile business and the
mules business. I am also a logging
contractor. At my three farms I have'
good landing fields and each day T
carry home from some of the farms
poultry, eggs, milk, butter or some
other product. I have also several
occasions carried live hogs in my
plane from one farm to another. I
just tie the hog to the wing next to
the fusilage. They seem to enjoy the
trip..
