Methodists and Baptists
United in Sunday Service
Visiting Baptists Filled Both Pulpits
On Sunday Evening.
In the absence of their pastor, Rev.
S. F. Lowe, the Baptists worshipped
with the Methodists Sunday morning.
The service was most interesting and
profitable, Rev. Reese Griffin’s ser
mon holding the closest attention of
the congregation. The message was
clear-cut gospel truth, presented force
fully and impressively.
Col. Herbert Bradshaw, of Fitzger
ald, was the central figure in a most
inspiring service at the Baptist church
Sunday night. His address was a
strong appeal for higher thinking and
more consecrated service,
Rev. F. M. Blalock filled the Meth
odist pulpit Sunday evening, his
thoughtful discourse being directed to
“Soul Winning,” was greatly appre
ciated by the large audience.
