SCHOFIELDS PATENT~~COTTON PRESS.
IPatented Sopterxibe** 3<l. 1867.
15 HIS PR A'SS must commend Itself to the Cotton Planters of Georgia for its Durability
Simplicity of Const 1 notion, and the ease with which it cau be operated by either Hand
Horse, Water, or steam Power—the change irom oue lo tbe other beteg effected in a f*ir
minutes.
Another gnat advantage which this PiT9« pns°f?s is, it takes up «o little room that ft
miv be placed in and uu in the G;n House, toes saving much extra labor and toes of time,
the Cotton being placed in it as fast as ginned.
Occupying but little space, and kept out ot tbe weather, this press is very dnrabre, ui
not liable to get ou' of order, both the Kerew und tin' Frame beiug of wrought iron.
